The only Pinot Noir we picked before the smoke settled into the valley and the only Pinot we bottled. Turns out the best remedy for smoke taint is picking it before the smoke gets to it! This wine is bright, lower in alcohol, and full of energy. We surprised ourselves with the wine a little bit to be honest. Comprised entirely of our Holstein Estate Vineyard yet declassified to a Dundee Hills price point to reflect the unusual vintage circumstances.
